Muskoka Youth Justice Committee
Agency Website:

Youth Justice Committees (YJCs) provide an alternative way of dealing with non-violent, low risk matters, involving youth (12-17 yrs) that have come in to conflict with the law.

These Committees bring together the young person alleged to have committed the offence, the person harmed, and the young person's parent/guardian(s) with trained volunteer members of the community, to negotiate an appropriate way for the young person to make amends for his or her actions.
